Dec. 1, 1920
The Town Council met in regular session on Dec. 1, 1920, at W. R. Duncan's office,
Mayor Spurgin presiding. On roll call of officers the following assumed present.
G. C. Spurgin, Mayor, W. F. Duncan, Atty., H. P. Howery, Marshall, W. H.
Brigham, G. P. Maynard, C. M. Gallagher, Alderman.
The minutes of previous meeting were read and on motion and second, were accepted.
Regular moved and second that revised map of Wylie, be placed on record, and council
authorized City Atty. To have same done, and voucher be issued to County Clerk for
$10.00 to pay for same. Motion carried.
The following bills were allowed:
Herald Printing Co., for printing 17.50
Wylie Lumber Co., for bill rend. 10.40
J. T. Elliott Lbr. Co., for bill rend. 20.55
W. D. Stewart, for building crossing 15.00
A. Brown, for hauling 3.00
Regular moved and second that council appoint D. E. Willis, night watchman at a salary
at $65.00 per month. Motion carried.
There being no further business council adjourned until next regular meeting night.
