11-16-1922 (City Council) Minutes Wylie Texas Nov. 16th 1922.
The City Council of Wylie met on above date and for the purpose of canvassing the result
of the bond election and found the result to be as follows:
For the issuance of the water works bond 115 votes
Against the issuance of the bonds 29 votes
Majority for the bonds 86 votes
A resolution was offered authorizing the Council to issue the bonds on motion by J.
R.Bowman & second by C. J. Marrs that said resolution be adapted. Motion carried
unanimously.
An ordinance was then passed authorizing the issuance of the bonds as voted.
