12-05-1923 (City Council) Minutes Dec 5 1923
The Council met in regular session in the Mayor's office at 7:15 PM with the following
present: Geo. W. Housewright, Mayor, C. J. Marrs, Jeff Knight and D. Story, Aldermen,
L. F. Hughes, Secy.
Alderman Daniel having moved from the city, a motion was duly made and seconded that
Mr. Geo. Kreymer be appointed to fill the unexpired term. The motion carried
unanimously.
The matter of Mr. S. G. Allison digging up and moving a gasoline underground tank from
Ballard Ave. was introduced. It was regularly moved and seconded that he allowed to
take tank out provided he refills the opening and leaves the street in as good condition as
it is now in and that he keep it filled satisfactorily in case it sinks later where the opening
was made. Motion carried.
The following bills were read, approved and ordered paid: Housewright Hammett Co.=
Itenuzed statement on file=$211.52, A. Brown=Drayage=Itenuzed statement on
file=$17.00, TPL Co.=installing motors in pump house-$135.57, Street lights-$25.00,
Pumping-$14.00.
There being no further business, council adjourned.
