08-05-1925 (City Council) Minutes August 5th, 1925
Council met in regular session 2:30 PM. Present: G. W. Housewright, Mayor, L. F.
Daniel, C. J. Marrs, Loyd Neilon, Aldermen, H. Corzine, City Pumper, L. F. Hughes,
Clerk.
The street committee was again instructed to have Marshall see parties about cutting
weeds.
Equalization Board appointed: Moved & sec in regular order that the Mayor appoint
Equalization Board for 1925 tax renditions Motion carried. The following appointed:
Geo. Kraemer, R. L. Gallagher, C. C. Pitts.
The matter of deposit on meters was discussed and it was decided to maintain the 5.00
deposit on meters when they are installed and the amount be refunded if the customer
discontinues use of the water. List delinquent street tax payments and notify Marshall to
collect or warn them out to work. Street committee instructed to have all toilets closed;
calling on Marshall if necessary. There being no further business council adjourned.
