12-07-1927 (City Council) Minutes Dec 7th, 1927 Council met in regular session with the following present: L. O. Neal, Mayor, Jick Housewright, C. J. Marrs, Loyd Neilon, &W. H. Brigham, Aldermen, C. C. Marrs, Pumper, L. F. Hughes, Secy. The following resolution was passed unanimously: Be it known that on this, the 7th day of Dec, 1927, at a regular meeting of the Board of commissioners of the City of Wylie, Texas, there came on to be considered the matter of the execution of a contract between said City of Wylie, Texas, and the gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway Company, covering the furnishing of water by the City of Wylie to Railway Company in said City, whereupon the following proceedings were had: It was moved, seconded and unanimously voted that L.O. Neal, Mayor, be authorized and empowered to execute, on behalf of the City of Wylie Texas, such contract or agreement, copy of which is hereto attached, and the same be recorded in the minutes of the Board of Commissioners at the foot of this resolution. STATE OF TEXAS CITY OF WYLIE I, L. F. Hughes, City Secretary, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Board of Commissioners of said City, in regular session, on Dec. 7 1927, as the same appears of record in Book 3, page 395, Minutes of said Board of Commissioners.
