11-06-1929 (City Council) Minutes Nov. 6th 1929
The City Council met on date above. Those present were J. A. Hammett, Chas Hillis,
Loyd Neilon, E. Housewright.
The meeting was called to order by J. A. Hammett, Mayor Pro Tem.
Mr. Smithfield with the Republic Insurance Co. was present and discussed the status of
the Deficiency Warrants of the Water Works System held by the company, but on
account of there being no funds to take care of this obligation, the matter was passed.
It was moved and secd that the clerk notify tax payers that after April First an additional
10% would be added to all unpayed taxes.
It was moved and secd that all delinquent taxes be collected or place in the hands of an
attorney. Motion carried.
