CONSTRUCTION CODE BOARD
JANUARY 12, 2006-6:30 p.m.

Board Vice-Chairman Frank Spingola called the meeting to order at 6:50 with the following Board
members present;Eric Brown,Guy Gordon,and Steve Repasky.Board member Scott Henry was absent.
Board Chairman Jim Chaney arrived at 7:00.
Staff members present were Johnny Bray,Building Official,Melanie Pinales-Doville,Permit
Technician,and Rachael Hermes,Park Board Secretary.

There were no citizens present for Citizens Participation.

1. Consider and act upon the approval of the Minutes from the October 13,2005 meeting.
Board Action
Board member Steve Repasky made a motion to approve the minutes as submitted.Board member Eric
Brown seconded the motion.A vote was taken and passed 4-0 with Board members Jim Chaney and
Scott Henry absent.
Chairman Jim Chaney arrived at this time.
2. Consider and act upon scheduling meetings to discuss issues pertaining to sidewalk replacement
and/or repairs.
Board Discussion
The Board discussed the proposed dates of the Construction Code Board meetings. The Board
discussed their preference for holding the meetings at 7:00 p.m.rather than 6:30 p.m.
Board Action
Board member Guy Gordon made a motion to approve the proposed dates for the upcoming meetings
with each meeting to begin at 7:00 p.m. Board member Steve Repasky seconded the motion.A vote was
taken and passed 5-0 with Board member Scott Henry absent.

3. Discuss sidewalk replacement and/or repairs.
Board Discussion
The Board stated that they would begin discussion of sidewalk replacement and/or repairs when all
Board members could be present. The Board requested another special meeting to be held on January
26,2006 at 7:00.

Board Action
With no further business, Board member Frank Spingola made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:05
p.m. The motion was seconded by Guy Gordon. A vote was taken and passed 6-0 with Board member
Scott Henry absent.
