Special Called Meeting
Wylie City Council
Tuesday, March 30, 2004— 6:00 p.m.
Wylie Municipal Complex-Council Chambers

Mayor Pro Tern Eric Hogue called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. with the following council
members present: Councilwoman Reta Allen, Councilman J. C.Worley, Councilman Chris Trout,
Councilman Merrill Young, and Councilman Randal Shinn. Mayor John Mondy was absent for
the meeting.
Staff members present were: Acting City Manager Mindy Manson and City Secretary Carole
Ehrlich.
Councilman Merrill Young led the invocation and Councilman Worley led the pledge.
There was no one present to address council.

A. Consider and act upon approving Resolution #2004-10(R), amending Resolution
#2004-06 and ordering a General Election to be held jointly with the Wylie
Independent School District, Collin County Community College District, and
East Fork Water District on May 15, 2004 for the purpose of electing two
members, Place 1 and 3, to the Wylie City Council to fill expired terms.
Council Action
A motion was made by Councilman Worley, seconded by Councilman Shinn to approve the
consent agenda as presented. A vote was taken and passed 6-0 with Mayor Mondy absent.

With no further business before council, a motion was made by Councilman Shinn, seconded by
Councilman Worley to adjourn the meeting at 6:05 p.m. A vote was taken and passed 6-0 with
Mayor Mondy absent.
