One of the ' ns osing a roof pitch of 5:12 around the perimeter edge. Chair
Taylor question of pitch, and asked for clarification on the style home. When
application was su 'tted the style of the home was Prairie Style.
Mr. Mac McClure, . �935, Wylie, owner/applicant for the subject property,
stated that the Pr( House went away, and the options before the
Commissioners is simil e ting houses in the neighborhood. Chair Taylor stated
that the options still pro ! :w12 roof pitch on a non-defined house. Mr. McClure
expressed desire to have a i ' 'ng up in attic when working on HVAC unit.
Ms. 011ie explained the pur of the Co mission to Mr. McClure, and stated that
the Commission was not charged r firm that the plans match the existing
properties. The plans must meet c guidelines within the Zoning Ordinance and
protect the historic area. The pla tiat the Commissioners are currently considering,
are not period style and do not mee Ines within the Zoning Ordinance.

The applicant is presenting a Greek Revival style structure to co „, r mposite masonry material which
includes Hardy products, with a wood pattern, columns and ra' l s de ? ing covered porch. According to

The applicant has chosen the Greek Revival style with gabled front and in milar to what is depicted in
McAlester's book (photo included). The structure will be 3,222 square feet, 6 sf covered porch, and a
424 sf patio. Front porch depth is 7'-1 I". The gabled roof pitch is 6:12. There ADA compliance ramp
on the front and back of the structure.
Per Section 6.3.E.4.c(4) allows some flexibility in parking requirements for co 1 ses over 4,000 sf. A
minimum of 50% of the required parking shall be on site; up to 25%w'o of the re 1 ' be on-street. The
remaining parking can be located at a facility within 1,000 feet of the site. There is a ^ned free parking
lot immediately to the south of the subject tract. 5 on-site parking spaces are qt' for the subject
