08-02-1922 (City Council) Minutes Regular Meeting of Town Council held Aug 2/1922 with following members present
GW Housewright, JR Bowman, D Story, Jeff Knight, , H.P. Howery, and Albt Davis.
CJ Mans, CL Hillis being absent.
A Petition was presented to Council to appoint Mr. NE Owens as night Watchman Moved & Sec
that Mr Owens be appointed the city assuming no responsibility as to paying him, motion
carried. A Propositial was considered from Mr McCarty about graveling the side streets
Moved & Seconded that the mayor appoint an equalization board to adjust the property values
for the city Motion Carried.
Bill in favor of A Brown for 3\25 allowed

Council met in Regular session with the following members Present. GW Housewright
JrBowman, CJ Mans, Jeff Knight, D Ston, WT Duncan HPHowery & Alvert Davis..CL Hillis
being absent.
Missrs Oneil & Son of the Oneil Eng co of Dallas was present & gave us some Interesting talk
on a water system for wylie and was Invited to be present at the business meeting of the
Commercial Club on 18th of Sept. and In the meantime we would talk to the citizens and try to
have as many as possible present on the date.
2 bills were allowed as follows, .50 for 2 phone calls to McKinney, 1.00 for hauling 2 dead dogs
out of town.
