MAY 29, 1923
The Council met in called session in the office of City Attorney Duncan with the following
present: Geo W Housewright Mayor, EH Daniel, Chas L Hillis, Jeff Knight and D Story
Alderman, WF Duncan Atty, LF Hughes Secy. The meeting was called to order at 9 am by the
Mayor, who stated that the meeting had been called for the purpose of handling properly a
communication from Prudden & Co at Hanover Nat'l Bank New York City regarding the interest
on water Bonds. He also stated that upon examination it was found that $1500.00 was due at
this time for interest to June 1" 1923. It was moved by Alderman Story and seconded by Ald.
Daniel that the amount due be paid & the motion carried authorizing the Mayor, Secy and Treas.
to pay $1500.00 interest on water bonds.
It was moved by Ald Knight and Seconded by Ald Daniel that the bond of Treasurer Chas L
Hillis be approved and accepted. Motion Carried.
The street Committee was instructed to look into the building and repairing of walks in
certain sections of the city.
There being no further business, the Council adjourned.
