04-16-1925 (City Council) Minutes April 16th 1925
Council met in called session in City Attys office at 10:20 am with the following present:
GW Housewright Mayor, CJ Marrs, LF Daniel, CL Kilis, D Story, Aldermen, WF Duncan Any,
LF Hughes, clerk. The result of the Election of April 7th was reported as follows = For
Alderman, Loyd Neilon 46, E Housewright 1, John Houston 44 —For clerk LF Hughes 48. Loyd
Neilon and John Houston declared elected alderman and LF Hughes clerk. Each was duly sworn
into their respective offices. The following appointments were then made. Loyd Neilon
Treasurer. John Houston to Street Committee to fill place vacated by Alderman Story. Bond of
Treas. approval.
There being no further business. Council adjourned.
