03-12-1926 (City Council) Minutes MAR 12 1926
Council met in Called Session at 730 pm with the following present = GW Housewright
Mayor—LF Daniel, CJ Marrs, JH Finch, Loyd Neilon & Jno. Houston Aldermen—WF Duncan
City Any, SF Hughes Scy—Mr. Oneil and Mr Watkins.
It was moved & sec in regular order that the mayor, city secy and City Treasurer execute
bonds and deed of trust for construction of Sewer system. Motion carried, and signatures were
properly affixed. Same was witnessed by Earl Hoggs and S.O. Corzine.
There being no further business council adjourned.

Circulars were ordered printed regarding clean up days March 26th and 27th
It was moved & sec in regular order that Elliott Lumber Co be permitted to move their present
location to the OH Burns property immediately north of Gants shop —with the provision that the
improvements be covered with iron roofing, except the office may be covered with rubberoid
material. Mo. Carried.
It was moved & sec in regular order that the office of city Atty be abolished after April 1"
1926 and the duties of said office be upon the City Secy. Mo. Carried.
There being No further business, council adjourned.
