04-06-1927 (City Council) Minutes APR—6 1927
Council met in regular session with the following present: L.O. Neal Mayor, LF Daniel, Jick
Housewright, WH Brigham Loyd Neilon, Aldermen, LF Hughes clerk.
Mins previous meeting read & approved. The results of the election of April 5th was declared
as follows: for Aldermen, Loyd Neilon and WH Brigham, For City Clerk L Fay Hughes. The
new officials were immediately sworn in by the Mayor. A Resolution of thanks and appreciation
to the outgoing members of the board for services rendered during the past term was
unanimously adopted.
The following appointments were then made. Loyd Neilon Treas —LF Daniel water Supt.,
Jick Housewright and WH Brigham Street Committee. CJ Marrs, Mayor Pro-tem.
Upon regular mo & sec it was voted to pay the City Treas $7.50 per month for his work,
including the past year.
Upon mo & sec in regular order it was voted to pay LF Daniel $25.00 for special interest
manifested in his work during the past year.
Vouchers were ordered issued to cover salaries of official board postage & misc bills etc.,
copies of which are on file.
The following bills were allowed and ordered paid = DE Willis $6.00 for holding election=
SG Allison $4.57 oil & gas & 3 %z days truck hire; Herald Ptg Co $11.40 misc printing.
There being no further business council adjourned.
