05-17-1927 (City Council) Minutes MAY 17 1927
Council met in called session at 8 pm with the following present LO Neal mayor. LF Daniel,
Loyd Neilon, CJ Marrs, WH Brigham, Aldermen, Hardy Corzine, pumper, LF Hughes clerk.
Thursday May 19th was declared clean up day.Hardy Corzine was instructed to hire truck
from Mr. Hutchins if possible at $7.50 per day to haul off trash. The Mayor to see that "clean
up" notice is ordered printed in local paper and have 250 handbills printed.
The city clerk was instructed to mail delinquent tax notices to all who have not paid their city
taxes for 1926 and previous years. There being no further business Council adjourned.
