06-16-1930 (City Council) Minutes Minutes of Meeting Held June 16/1930
Council met with all members present and after Invocation by mayor, the minutes of Last
meeting was read and approved. Communication from Lorin B Stubnall in regard to auditing
books was read & filed also one from Phillips Investment co in regard to selling us some of the
city Bonds was read & filed.
The Mayor appointed WE Bedell Jno Houston Sr& WH Story as Equalization board for the city.
Also appointed JJ Holloman Gio Kreymer as two of the equalization board for the School
district. Was moved & sec that the Marshal be instructed to open the alley on the south side of
Dr GP Maynards farm also the Street or alley running east & west on the north side of SM
McDonalds Home property, motion carried.
Moved & Second that the following list of accounts against the city be allowed. Geo Webb 3.25
CC Marrs 37.50 JT Long 7.00 JC Jennings 6.38 CR Burch 280 IV Boren 225 ML Morris 3.50
CC Marrs for Material purchased 7.00 Motion Carried. The applications for the place of Water &
Sewer Supt were laid over till some future time council then adjourned.
