03-16-1931 (City Council) Minutes March 16/1931
Minutes of meeting held on above date with all of council present except Alderman CL Hillis &
E Housewright. Minutes of meeting held Feb 16/31 were read & approved. After Invocation By
Alderman A Brown The Treasurers report was read and on motion & sec was accepted.
Some communications were read and filed. The question of the Sanitary department was
discussed, also the question of steers running loose and being tied where they could graze across
the walks. The Marshall was instructed to run an advertisement in the Wylie Herald warning
citizens to keep up their Stock and also no tie their stock where the stock could get across the
walks. The following Bills & accounts were allowed & Treasurer Instructed to pay as far as
funds would permit
