CALL TO ORDER-WYLIE CITY COUNCIL
City Council members present were Mayor Pro Tem/City Chair Eric Hogue and Council
Member/City Vice Chair Rick White. School Board members present were: WISD
Trustee/School Subcommittee Chair Susan Schuler and WISD Trustee Henry Garland.
Also in attendance was Mark B. Roath, City Manager. Absent were Mayor John Mondy,
WISD Trustee Ronni Fetzer and Dr.John Fuller, Superintendent of Schools.
REGULAR AGENDA
1. Date for March Joint Meeting
The Subcommittee membership agreed that the Joint Meeting should occur on Monday,
March 27,2006 at 6:30 p.m.
2. Identify Topics for Special Meeting
Eric Hogue suggested that the Joint Meeting agenda include an item showing the School
District's proposed facilities and the City's Bond Projects—that is, so those in attendance
could see when construction is to occur. As such, he suggested that Dr. John Fuller and
Mark Roath develop a map and timeline showing the information.
Susan Shuler suggested that the Joint Meeting agenda should also include a discussion on
the various joint projects between the entities. In addition, she suggested that the two
staffs include information on potential future joint projects.
3. Review Updated Map indicating Existing and Future Campus Locations
This item was not discussed, since Dr. John Fuller was not present.
4. Status of Hooper Road and Future School Sites
Eric Hogue expressed concern that road improvements in and around the new Cooper
Junior High will not occur in time for the opening of the facility. He asked that City staff

review and prepare information for the upcoming Joint Meeting. He also asked that the
City and School Administrations meet and discuss how to address the transportation
situation before the school opens in the Fall,2006.
5. Discussion regarding a Partnership Celebration of Wylie's 120 Anniversary in
October of 2006
Those present discussed the need for a celebration to mark Wylie's 120 Anniversary.
During the discussion, a member indicated that the Chamber of Commerce should be
contacted to see if Pioneer Days might not be the perfect venue for the Anniversary
Celebration.
The Subcommittee agreed to meet next on March 6th at 6:30 a.m. at the Wylie City Hall.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 a.m.
