At a Call meeting of the City Council, City of Wylie the following persons were
present. Aldermen: J. H. Edgington, R.J.Hall, 0.W. Hampton, and F.A. Gallagher,
Mayor D.W. Click.
A motion was made by R.J. Hall and second by J.H. Edgington that the City
accept the proposal by Geo. W. Tyler. His proposal was to open and close
the sewerage ditch, lay all tile, and furnish all materials and labor used
except the tile. For this work he is to receive eighty-five cents 85¢
per limier foot. This agreement is further discussed in the contract now on
file with the City Secretary.. Further, this motion included that the City
shbuld borrow Thirteen Hundred Dollars ( 1300.00* From the First State Bank
at Wylie to finance the deal.
A motion was made by F.A. Gallagher and Seconed by JQH. Edgington that the
secretary W.7. Housewright be given the authority to issuB permits to
individuals to connect on to the City Water and Sewerage Works. The fee
for this is to be collected in advance. Motion Carried.
