Feb. 20, 1948
At a call meeting of the City Council on the above date all members
were present.
Mr Boyd who is acting as our City Attorney introduced Mr. Jackson
who carried on a discussion about the Ci ,y of Wylie Refunding bonds
that are outstanding. It was his belief that the City could re-
finance their bonds without a great deal of trouble and have the
tax ratio -that is how in effedtreduced so that more money could`
go to the General Fund for the maintainence of the City. It was his
recommendation that the City not call any bonds at the coming interest
paying date. He seemed Quite confident that he could buy the bonds
at a reduced rate and save a great deal m±xixicaramt in that way.
A lengthy discussion was carried on in regard to taxes of various
kind. . No definite action
No further business the council adjurned to meet again at the next
regular meeting or call meeting by the mayor.
