At a call meeting of the City Council on the above date the following members
were present. Mayor-D.W. Click; Aldermen John Sharp, J.H. Edgington, F.A. Gallagher,
and R.J. Hall; Sect. W.W. Housewright.
The following persons wore met with the council, C.M. Coffey, Jessie L. Gibson, W.W.
McCre?r-*, Kate Ryan, and Mrs. Reed Rains, in regard to the proposed sewerage line in
the east part of town. After a lenkthy discussion the matter was postponed until the
8ity had a report from tkw Mr. Williams, who was to run the grade on the line.
A motion was made by John Sharp and Second by John Edgington that the street
committy have charge of the grader that the City was buying. Motion c carried.
The money for this grader was to be raised by the citizens of Wylie signing notes
in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) payable to the City of Wylie. The
mayor and sectretary was authorized to borrow the money from the First State Bank .
