At a regular meeting bf the City Council the following persons were
present. Aldermen's O.W. Hampton, R.J.Hall, F.A. Gallagher, J.H.
Edgington who acted as mayor in the absance of D.W. Click, and W.W.
Housewright-Se ct.
A Motion was made by R.J. Hall and seconed by F.A. Gallagher to keep
a uniform officer to patroll all football games for the coming year.
He was to receive 44.00 a night. Motion carried.
A lengthy discussion was made in regard to putting signs up in regard
to parking, and the proposed fines for violators. . No definite action.
A motion was made by R.J. Hall and seconed by O.W. Hampton that J.A.
Pitts, assessor and collector of taxes, was to collect the taxes as
rendered. Motion carried.
A discussion was made in regard to a building for the fire trucks.
R.J. Hall and F.A. Gallagher were appointed to secure a place and
see that it was built.
