The City Council met in regular session on the above date with the following
members being present. Aldermen J.H. Edgington, A.D. Boyd, Ray B. Sheeks,
Fred A. Gallagher, and Sect. W.W. Housewright.
There was a lengthy discussion on the cubb and gutter situation along the
Piano road with no definite action.
There was a discussion on the sewerage problem in the south part of town.
It was deciced that teirt would be made and see how far back up the line
the City would have to go to reach the appropriate depths To rum theline.
Aldermen J.H. Edgington was to see that an article was put in the Wylie News
warning people to keep bicycles off the sidewa Is.
A letter that Sect. W.W. Housewright had written to A.L. Lemons was read,
and a motion was made by F.A. Gallagher and Seconed by Ray B. Sheeks that
the letter be sent to Mr. Lemons. This was in regard to his turning his
sink water into the ditch by his house.
A discussion was made in regard to the tax situation with no definite action.
A motion was made and second that F.A. Gallagher be appointed to see the
property owners along the streets tots that are on the Plano road about them
paying for the work done by their property.
No further business the council adjurned to meet again at the next regular
or call meeting by the mayor.
