Nev. 15, 1949
The City einnoil, City of Wylie met in regular session en the above date with
the following members being present. Aldermen J.B. Bowden, A.D. Boyd, R.B. Sheeks,
F.A. Gallagher, and J.H. Edgington., Mayor, D.W. Click., Sect. W.W. Housewright.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A discussion was made in regard to the peddlers liscenee, but action was postponed.
A discussion was made in regard to sewage problems with me definite action.
A motion was made by R.B. Sheeks and Seconed by J.H. Edgington that the City
become a member of the League of Texas Micipalities. Motion carried.
A motion was not made by F.A. Gallagher and second by J.S. Bowden that the
City Donate $100.00 to Trinity River Enprovement Assoc. for this year. Motion
Carried.
A contract with Texas Power & Light Co. was ordered signed by the mayor and
secretary., of which a copy is attached bereti.
No further business the council adjurned to meet again at the next regular
or call meeting by the mayor.
