05-15-1950 (City Council) Minutes CIVIC OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
May 15, 1950
The City Council, City of Wylie, met in regular session on the
above date with all members present.
The minutes of the previous meeting wee read and approved.
Motion made by R.V. Groves and seconded by 7.D. Green that street
light be placed on west side of Jackson street near Drewery's Gin. The
motion carried.
A motion was made by R.V. Groves and seconded by J.H. Edgington
to authorize evaluation on City property of $600,000. Motion carried.
The Street Committee was authorized to buy the necessary amount of
"ready mix" a for street patching and to hire the labor to repair the
holes in the City.
No further business was discussed and the council adjourned to
meet again the the next regular (* call meeting by the mayor.
