WYLIE, TEXAS
Feb. Y 16, 1951
The City council City of Wylie, met in regnlAr session on the above date with
the following members being present; Mayor D.W. Click, Aldermen: R.V. Groves,
W.D. Green, J.H. Edgington, A.D. Boyd, and Sect. 1.W. Fousewr:ght.
A motion was made by W.D. Green and seconed by A.D. Boyd that an election by
held for the purpose of electing three aldermen. Motion
carried.,; Mayor D.W. Click appointed R.V. texecatrz Groves and D.W. Green to
get up the ticket.
A motion was made by R.V. Groves and seconed by A.D. Boyd the W.W. Housewright
be appointed City Secretary to fill out the unexpired term of former sec-
retary P.B. Fielder, and his salary be raised to Fifteen ( 15.00) per month.
Motion Carried.
There was a lengthy discussion in regard to the various sewage problems in
the City with no definite action taken.
There was a discussion in regard to the new highway 78 with no action taken.
It was agreed by the council that the City will pay expenses of representatives
of the City occurred diximg while on City Business.
The City Council agreed to pay the expense of the paint for the Fire Station.
With no further business the council adjurned to meet again at the next
regular or call meeting by the mayor.
