Jan. 15, 1952
The City Council met in regular session with the following present.
Mayor D.W. Click., Aldermen; R.V. Groves., A.D. Boyd., J.E. Bowden.,
J.W. Nicholson., W.D. Green., and W.W. Housewright-Sect.
There was a discussion in regard to the paved streets in the City and the
holes that are in the streets, and how would be the best way to patch them.
This project was turned over to the street committee.
There was a discussion in regard to the highloay (78). The Mayor was to
check with some of the other surrounding towns in Collin Co. to see if the
county bought the needed property.
The secretary presented two petitions that Citizens awl in the new addition
and members of the baptist church presented trying to secure street lights
in these respective part of town. It was agreed that T.P.& L. would be
instructed to install these light.
No further business the council adjourned.
