Feb. 11, 1952
The City Council met in call session on the above date with all members present:
D.W. Click.,A.D. 'Boyd, J.E. Bowden, ibittailliask R.V. Groves, J.W. Nigholson,
W.D. Green., W.W. Housewright.
An election was ordered for the purpose of eledting one (1) Mayor., two (2) I'
aldermen., one (1) secretary, & one (1) City Marchall. The election was ordered
for the first Tuesday in April., this being the first day of April 1952.
J.E. Bowden., J.W. Nicholson, & A.D. Boyd were appointed to get up the ticket.
There was a discussion in regard to T.E. Goen sewage connection. No definite actiq
taken.
A notion was made by J.E. Bowden & Seconed by J.W. Nicholson that the salary of
H.A. Long , water superintendent, be raised from $200.00 to $225.00 per month
Motion MINIX Carried. This raise was to be recectoractive to Jan. 1, 1952.
The council adjourned to meet again at the next regular or call meeting.
