March 28, 1952
At a call meeting of the City Council, City of Wylie, on the above date the
following members were present. Mayor D.W. Click., Aldermen J.W. Bowden.,
R.V. Groves, J.W. Nicholson, W.D. Green, A.D. Boyd, and sec. W.W. Housewright.
There was a motion made by R.V. Groves and second by J.W. Nicholson that
Charlie Smith be removed from holding the coining election April 1, 1952, due
to the fact that it was fould that it would be illegal for him to hold said election,
Motion Carried.
A motion .was made by A.D. Boyd and seconed tiactx by J.E. Bowden that W.O. Houston
be appointed election judge. Motion carried.
A motion was made by IfIZIKEMBEIMEXECJ.W. Nicholson and seconed by R.V. Groves
that the City execute the contract presented by Texas Power & Light Co.
Motion Carried. Contract attached hereto.
With than= no further business the council adjourned.
