July 9, 1952
The City Council of thin. City met in Call session on the above date with all members
except aldermen C.W. Taylor and J.W. Nicholson being present.
Truett Smith met with the council in regard to to the Public Hearing of Lavon Dan.
Mr. Smith recommended that the City stake their claim on a 7dnonsight 6n the
Lake shore. A motion was made by R.V. Groves and second by A.D. Boyd that
the City place a request with the engineers that Wylie is-fit interested
in a possible development on on the tract of land that hae been named East Fork
Park of Lavon Lake. This request was to be so stated that it will not obligate
the City in any way, but will reserve this property for our City. Motion Carried.
The M6eyor appointed A.D. Boyd to submit the application.
With no further business the council adjourned.
