WYLIE, TEXAS
Aug. 16, 1954
The City council met in regular session on the above date with all members of
the council being present.
The minutes of the July meeting were read and approved.
There was a discussion in regard to the deliquent taxes in the town. A.D. Boyd
was to contact the Cities attorney and find what has been done about this.
A motion was made by R.S. Posey and seconed by R.V. Groves that Mr. Brooks
be contacted about the City marshall job. Motion carried.
A motion was made by R.V. Groves and seconed by R.S. Posey *hat Mr. Brooks be
offered $200.00 per month and $15.00 expense money. Motion Carried.
With no further business the, council adjourned to meet again at the next
regular or call meeting by the mayor.
