At a regular meeting on the above date all members of the council were present.
The minutes of the February meeting were read and approved.
Percy Crance came before the council concerning a reckless driving ticket that
had been given him by the City Marshall. He pleaded guilty and was fined $15.00.
There was a lengthy discussion in regard to the lift station that Mr. J.L. Bostic
is to install in the Bostic Addition. The following action was taken. A motion was ma
made by R.V. Groves and seconed by A.D. Boyd that before this is installed; it will
be approved by the council. Motion carried.
Albert Long was discussed as a helper for the Water Superintendent, Mr. H.A. Long.
Aldermen Groves and Boyd were to see if they could work out a satisfactory arrange-
ment between the City and Albert.
There was a lengthy discussion in regard to a water line in ,the sou th part of
town with no definite action being taken.
There was a lengthy discussion as to the deliquent water bills with the following
action being taken. A motion was made by R.S. Posey and Seconed by R.V. Groves
that any tine a water bill becomes sixty (60) Days deliquent service would be
disc connected. If the bill is paid there will be a service charge of one ($1.001.
for disconnection and a one ($1.00) dollar service charge 3mt re-connection. Motion
Carried.
With no further business the council adjourned.
