WYLIE, TEXAS
Sept. 22, 1955
The City Council of this city net in regular session on the above date with
the following members of the council being oresent. Mayor J.F. Digington;
Aldermen R.B. Richardson., A.D. Boyd., M.P. Allen., R.V9Groves .
A Mr. Brandy representing the C.H. Lovell Co. met with the council in regard
to his company buying water from the City of Wylie to use during the construction
of the the filtration plant just east of town. The following action was taken
in regard to this matter. A motion was made by R.B. Richardson and seconed by
M.F. Allen to g-ant permission to to the company to tie into the City water lines
with a contract drawn by our city attorney if necessary. Motion Carried.
There was a discussion in regard to additional street lights in the city with
the following action taken. A motion was made by R.B. Richardson and seconed by
R.V. Groves to approved the mixt addition lights. Motion carried.
R.B. Richardson discussed the prospect of the merchants buying a street sweeper
and the city maintaining xxxs* and operate same. R.V. ^roves zaa made a motion to
this affect and was seconed by A.D. Boyd, Motion carried.
With no further business the council adjourned.
