04-26-1956 (City Council) Minutes CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
April 26, 1956
At a regular meeting of the council on the above date all members of the council
were present except Mayor D.W. Click and Alderman W.D. Green.
In absence of the mayor Mayor Fro-tem A.D. Boyd persided.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Hogan met with the council and discussed the possibility of cutting Ballard
Avenue north of Brown street and Brown Street east of Ballard aado so that proper
drainage could be had. He presented a preliminary drawing showing the cut that
will have to be made.
Mr. Frank Medinach met with the council and presented the bond retirement schedule
of the bond issue that has been voted and authorized. A motion was made by R.V.
Groves and seconed by M.F. Allen that the schedule presented bgr accepted. Motion
Carried. A copy of which is attached.
Mr. Gay, acting attorney for the city presented an ordinance creating a zoning
commission. After a discussion in regard to this matter the following action
was taken. A motion was made by M.R. Allen and seconed by R.B. Richardson
that this ordinance be passed. Motion Carried. Copy attached.
With no further business the council adjourned.
