CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
MEy 11, 1956.
At a regular meeting of the City Council on the above date all members
of the council were present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. •
Mr. Frank MOdanich met with the council and presented several ordinances
pertaining to the bonds that have been voted. These ordincances-sere
passed and signed by the mayor and secretary. Copies of which are filed
in minute book.
TM council was asked to appoint a director to serve on the board of the
North Texas Municipal Water District for period of two years beginning
June 1, 1956. A motion was made by A.D. Boyd and seconed by R. B. Richardson
that C. Truett Smith be reappointed to this job. Notion Carried.
There was a discussion in regard to the.soming ordinance farming a
planning commission for the city was discussed. The following men were
to serve on this .committee if they would. Charles Taylor Glenn Daniel
Charlie Shields, 011ie Addington, Carl Ward, and Wade Martin.
With no further business the council adjourned.
