06-14-1956 (City Council) Minutes CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
June 14, 1956
The City council of this city met in regular session on the above date with
all members of the council except Alderman Richardson being present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Bob Hogan of Forrest & Cotton met with the council and presented plans
and specifications for the water and sewage lines that are to be run. After
a thomvugh discussion in regard to them, the following action was taken.
A motion was made by R.V. Groves and seconed by W.D. Green that the mayor
be instructed to sign the completed plans when they were presented. Motion
carried.
July 5, 1956 was the date set by the council as dead line for receiving bids
on the proposed work, and Ix22xftMxxxiti no bids will be received after 8:00
P.M.
The council was presented with a licensee agreement, that had been execuited
by the City of Garland officials in regard to concession rights in 10 the
Garland Wylie park area at Lake Lavon. A motion was made by A.D. Boyd and
Seconed by R.V. Groves that the city sign the license. Motion carried.
With no further business the council adjourned.
