09-27-1956 (City Council) Minutes CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
Sept. 27, 1956
At a regular meeting of the city council of this 81.67 all members of the
council except Alderman Allen & Richardson were present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
There was a discussion in regard to several streets in town and especially
those envolved in the water and sewerage construction. No action was takes
in regard to this.
A water department discussion was held but no action was taken.
Jack Bentley met with the council in regard to getting more money for
his job as Chief of Police. After a lengthy discussion in regard to this
matter the following action was taken. A motion was made by R.V. Groves
and seconed by A.D. Boyd that his salary be raised from $245.00 to $275.00
monthly beginning Oct. 1, 1956. Notion carried.
With no further business the council adjourned.
