CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
March 14, 1957
At a regular meeting of the council on the above date all members were
present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
H.M. Bentley met with the council and discussed the new radio that he
had had installed on his car. He informed the council that the radio
had cost him $318.60 instead of the $250.00 that ims the council had
authorized. After discussing this matter the following action was taken.
A motion was made by R.V. Groves and :mooned by A.D. Green that the city
pay the full amount of the purchase. Notion carried.
There was a discussion in regard to the intersection of Ballard and the
new highway, and the dangerous crossing that it had created. there was no
action taken in regard to this matter.
Alderman Boyd and Groves gave a report on the fencing that had been done
aroung the sight of the new disposal plant, and on the prospect of getting
the chain link fence from Glynn Montgomery.
With no further business the council adjourned.
