03-28-1957 (City Council) Minutes CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
March 28, 1957
The city council of this city met in regular session on the above date
with all members of the council bmingx,xszost except Alderman Green
being present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
There was a discussion in regard to the status of the road leading to
the sight of the new disposal plant. The water and sewage committee
reported that that had been uanble to sx get in touch with Mr. Bowen
the County Commissioner so that anything definite could be worked out.
Mrs. Agnes Eaves and two associated met with the council and stated that
they were instered in developing the Mrs. A.K. McDonald property that joins
the city limits on the west side of town. Their purpose of this meeting
was to find tut the policy of the city in regard to water and sewage lines
service. They were ineoraed by the council that it is the practice of the
roue city to run the lines to the property line, and the developer was to
service the plot to be developed according to our city engineer. There was
a very lengthy discussion in regard to this matter, but no definite
committments were made by either side concerned.
With no further business the council adjourned.
