07-25-1957 (City Council) Minutes CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
July 25, 1957
The City Council met in regular session on the above date with all
members of the council being present Except Aldermen Howrey and Addington.
The minutes Of the previous meeting were read and approved.
There was a discussion in regard to the Financial Condition of the City.
The secretary was instructed to make a list of the items and amounts of
the fixed expenses for the eity.
A letter from our engineers, Forrest and Cotton, was presented aecommending
a 30 day extension on the contract of Clyde Smith on the sewage treatment
plant contract. The following action was taken in regard to this matter.
A motion was made by R.B. Richardson and seconed by R.V. Groves that the
30 day extension be granted. Motion Carried.
It was officially decided that the chain link fence that was included in
the contract be deleted from the contract. Thhe was done by a motion by
M.F. Allen and seconed by R.V. Groves, and properly passed.
Mr. Richardson presented figures »t in form of estimated and led the
council in a discussion of paving of various streets in our city. No
action was taken in regard to this matter.
With no further business the council adjourned to .meet again at the next
