The City Council of this city met in regular session on the above date with
the following members of the council being present: Mayor Click, Aldermen
Richardson, Allen, Groves, and Addington, and Sect. W.W. Housewright
An amendment to our license with the Federal government in regard to the
Garland€Wylie Park area at Lake Lavon was presented and the following action
was taken. A motion was made by R.B. Richardson and seconed by R.V. Groves
that the ammendment be passed. Motion carried. copy attached.
There was a discussion in regard to the bid on the sewage line west of Ballard
and south of College street in the amount of $1995.00 that had been presented by
J. Gilbert Garland. The following action was taken. A motion was made by
R.B. Richardson and seconed by 011ie Addington that the bid be accepted. .Motion
Carried.
There was a discussion in regard to street cleaning on the main street. It was
ecided that it would remain the same $6.00 per week mt with an extra $10.00
being paid when the streets were striped.
With mo further business the council adjourned.
