CITY OF "WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
April 4, 1958-
The City Council of this city met in regular session on theabove date
with the following members of the council being present. Mayor Click,
Aldermen, Allen, Richardson, Groves, and Addington, Secretary Housewright.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
There was a discussion of the old business with no definite action being
taken.
A canvas of the election that was held April 1, 1958 was held and the
following persons were declared elected and were sworn in by Mrs. Rita
Smith. For Mayor A.D. Boyd., For Aldermen Mrs. John L. Bostic, and C.E.
Ed. Collins., For Secretary W.R. Housewright.
After Mayor Boyd has been sworn in the following appointments were made.
For Tax Assessor and Collector W.Q. Houston
Attorney for the City Roland Boyd
Tfash pick up- - -E.J. (Jakie) Hicks
Sry toilets pick up A.L. Maynard
City Police H.M. (Jack)Bentley
Water & Sewage committee Aldermen 011ie Addington & Ed. Collins.
streets Aldermen R.B. Richardson, Joe Howrey, and
Mrs. John L. Bostic.
Mayor Protem R.B. Richardson
A motion was made by 011ie Addington and seconed by Mrs. John L. Bostic
that the Mayor's appointments be accepted. Motion Carried.
With no further business scheduled the council adjourned.
