06-10-1958 (City Council) Minutes �'"". -....r .r. CITY OF WYLIE WYLIE, TEXAS Jane 10, 19% The City Conseil of this City set in regular session on the above date with the following members of the council being present; Mayor Boyd; Aldermen Collins, Bostic, Bowrey, and Sect. Nal Housewright. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. There was a discussion in regard to the lease with the Santa Fe Railroad where the new fire station is. The following action was taken. A motion was made by C.E. Collins and seemed by Joe Bowrey that the terms of the lease be accepted, and the mayor and secretary be given authority to sip same. Motion carried. There was a discussion in regard to a protest that has been ft drawn by our attorney in regard to the Forney Reservoir. A motion was' made by Joe Howrey and second by Mrs. J.L. Bostic that this protest be signed and filed with the Water Engineers. Motion Carried. There was a discussion in regard to the construction payments on the fire atateion and how timpimmidibm the addition money needed would be recurred. A motion was made by Joe Howrey and Seconed by Mrs. J.L. Bostic that the Mayor and secretary he authoritzed to make advippes and pay Mr. Hight as worked progressed. The Mayor and secretary Aslso authorized to borrow the additional $1,100.00 that would be needed to finishe the job. Motion Carried. With no further business the council adjourned. • W.W.
