09-09-1958 (City Council) Minutes a CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS

The City council of this etiy met in regular session on the above date with
the following members of the council being Presets. Mayor Boyd; Aldermen,
Addington, Bostic, And Collins, and Sect. N$ Housewright.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
All bills were ordered paid.
Nathan Eldridge met with the council in regard to running a water line to his
property that joins the City limits on the Southeast part of Wylie. After a
very lengthy discussion in regard to this matter it was decided that Mr. Eldridge
would have to secure the easements necessary and work out the details with
the water & sewage committee. The land is to be brought into the City Limits.
Aw Paper discontinuing the "Acknowledgement of Tendency" with the Santa Fe
Railroad was presented and the following action was taken. A motion was made
by U R.B. Richardson and seconed by C.E. Colling that the paper be passed.
Moti'n Carried.
There was a discussion in regard to parking in front of the fire IXXXIIIX station
with the following action being taken. A motion was made by R.B. Richardson and
seconed by 011ie Addin Eton that a fine of $5.00 be levies against anyone parking
in front of Fire r'tation.
There was a discussion in regard to the narking in the down-town area but any action
was postponed until the next !u ting.
With no further business the council adjourned.
