WYLIE, TEXAS
January 19, 1999
The City
council of this City met in weg session on the above date with
the following webers of the council beingpresent. Matijor Boyd; Aldermen,
Bostic, Richardson., Addington, & Collins; Sect.. Housewright
The mentos of the previous meeting mere read and approved.
L11 bills were ordered paid.
There was a discussion in regard to stop signs on the streets that enter
the Hew Highway. No definite action was taken.
A discussion was held in regard to a telephone for the City Hall. The following
action was taken. A motion was made by R.B, Richardson and seconed by 011ie
Addington that the telephone be installed. lotion Carried.
A discussion was held with Mr. Medanich and Bill Bo:man, in regard to the
city being able to issue an addition $30e000,00 in bends. A motioning
made by 011ie Addington and seeoned by R.B. Richardson that Ir. Wedinach
be instructed to proceed with the bond issue. Notion Carried.
N.M. (Jack) Bentley and Pat Stephens of the Texas Highway Patrol] net with
the council in regard to getting a City Judger Jail., and other necessary
arrangements made so that the City could handle offenses within the City
. Limits. No definite action was taken in regard to this matter.
Two gentlemen representing the Pittsburg Tank & Toner Co., and Water Tank
Service Co. of Dallas, met with the council at difference tines, and discussed
the repairs needed on our water tank. They quoted prices and various things
concerning the repairing of the tot. No definite action was taken in regard
to this matter.
With no further business the council adjourned.
