07-14-1959 (City Council) Minutes CITY OF WYLIE WYLIE, TEXAS - , 1959 f Them city council of this city met in regular session on the above date with all members of the council being present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. All bills were ordered paid. S.J. (Jakie) Hicks met with the council in regard to having his pay raised from $150.00 to $200.00 per month for picking up the trash. A motion was made by 011ie Addington and second by W.D. Green that he be given the' raise if our collections for this mervice run this much. Motion carried. There was a discussion in regard to the deliquent taxes with no definite action being taken. There was a discussion in regard to the recommended speed limits on new highway WTge our attorney was instructed to draw the newessary ordinance regulating same. There was a discussion in regard to H.M. (Jack, Bentley leaving the city limits at night with no relief. The secretary was instructed to write him a letter in regard to this matter. Copy of letter attached. There was a discussion in regard to running the water line to the Wylie Industrial Out. No definite action was taken in regard to this matter.
