CITY OF WYLIE
WYLIE, TEXAS
Feb. 9, 1960
The City Council of this City met in regular session en the
above date with all members of the council being present
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
All bills were ordered paid.
After a dicsussion in regard to the coming City Election,
a motion was made by E.J. Parker and seconed by W.D. Green
that an election be held for the purpose of electing one (1)
mayor and two (2) councilmen. Motion carried. Mr. T.S. Beene
was appointed election judge, and he was to secure his own
clerks.
There was a discussion in regard to the raise in telephone
rates. After much discussion the following action was taken
A motion was made by C.E. Collins and Seconed by W.D. Green
that the attached ordinance be passed regulating the rates.
Motion Carried.
There was a discussion in regard to the city incorpating
the use of purchase orders for everything that is bought
by the city. Mayor Boyd appointed C.E. Collins and E.J.
Parker to work on this project and have something definite
for the next meeting.
With no further business the council adjourned.
