City council met in regular sessionw with 011ie Addington
acting as Mayor in the absence of Mayor Boyd.
With the following Council present. Mrs Bostic... Ed Collins
E.J.Parker Will Green
Minutes of previous: meeting were read and approved.
Bills were read and ordered paid.
Mr Victor with the Lone Star Gas Co. met with Council in regard
Rate raise for City After much discussion
Motion Made byWill Green Second' by Ed' Collins to grant raise
Motion Carried.
Jack Bently met With council ask to work his vacation
Dan Hickman ask to work his vacation
Motion made by Ed Collins to let thee men work and draw their vacation
Pay, second by E,J. Parker motion carried.
Jack Bentley asked for $25.00 raise in salary after much discussion
Motion was made by E.J. Parker to grant raise second by Mrs Bostic
Motion Carried Portion of rats" to be Pad on Back Taxes Each Month
until Paid Raise effective May 1st 19b0.
Motion made by E.J. Parker to refund Jesus name ClIturchWater
Deposit second - by Mrs Bostic. motion carried
Motion made by Ed Cillins To appoint W E Bozman City Sectary
n connection with city Tax. Assessor and Collector and
Water collector and set his Salary at $300.00 pr.Month effective
April 1st 1960.second by Mrs Bostic Motion Carried

Motion made By OLlie Addington to appoint Ed collins Will Green
Mayor A.D. Boyd to contact Forrest and Cotton in regard to City
Contract, Motion Carried second' by Will Green.
