City Council met in regular session wity Mayor Boyd and the following
present.
Will G reen E.J.Paoker Ed Collins Mrs Bostic.
Minutes Of previous Meeting were read and approved.
Motion made by E.J.Parker to purchase Motor Grader used Caterpillar
Model 212 For $3675.00 Payments $100.00 Per Month for 23 payments then
one payment being #24 for balance plus 6 percent Interest, Second by
Will. Green Motion carried. This was purchased from Cherry Equipment sales

This being all the old butanes' Mayor BPAyd opened and Canvassed the
Election returns of City Election E.J. Parker J.A.Rabb J.R.Sterey were
Elected to Council
Motion Made by Mrs Bostie to Approve election second by Ed Collins Motion
Carried.
John Gay
City Attorney Swore in E.J.Parker J.A.Rabb J.R.Storey as new Council
Members
Moyer Boyd Appointed Mrs Bostie E.J.Parker J.R.Storey on Street Commitee
Ed Collins J.A.Rabb Water and Sewage.
J.R.Storey Nominated E.J.Parker Mayor Protem Second by Ed Collins Nomination
Carried.
Motion made by E.J.Parker to appoint W.E.Bozman City Secatary and Tax
Assesor and Collector
Dan Jr Hickman Water Superinteddent
W.R.Bosman City Auditor
Dr T.M.Trimble Health Officer.
Second by J.R.Storey Motion carried.
After much discussion in regard to City Engineers Motion made by J.R.Storey
Second by Mrs Bostic to carry action by previous Council motion carried.
Motion made by Ed Collins to let Contract to Ellenburg Bros.and E.R.Hartley
Shaping and Finishing Sub B ase 480 Cubic Yds. Crushed Rook Two Heavy
Coats Black Top Cost $2034.40 West Kirby St. second by E.J. Parker
Motion Carried.
Motion made by J.R.Storey to let contract to Ellenburg Bros. to repair
First Street From Oak to Marbiethe work will consist taking up A. strip
20 Ft. widedown center and replacing with 4Inohes of Crushed Rook c omplete
two .Corse Asphalt from curb to Curb Cost $1254.50 second by Mrs Bostie.

Motion made by J.R.Storey to declare Twactor and Mower Surplus and sell

Motion Made by E.J.Parker to Raise Orville Phillips Wages from $1..00 to
$1.25 per Hour Second by ED Collins Motion Carried .

After Disgussion on The Punch Clock System Motion was Made by Ed Collins
to Hire B ebby Ross to Punch Clocks an& do Polies Work and his Salary be
$50.00 per Week 6 Nights and to Notify H.M.Bentley that His Time Expires
May First, and Louis Hoffer& Time to Expire May First also. Second by
J.R.storey Motion Carried.
