The city Council met in called session at :00 P. M.
with all members present and the Mayor presiding.
This meeting was called for the purpose of deciding
on the purchase of an automobile to be used as a
Police car.by the
Representatives from Red Bankston in Garland offered a
Police package Ford at $1983.23.
The Mayor appointed Ed Collins and Joe Rabb to buy a
Police Package Ford at the best possible price. The
color to be cream or white and delivery to be within
three weeks.
The Council granted Barney Gaylor' s request for spot
lights for his car, Sam Brown belt and holster, handcuffs
and a first aid kit.
Jack Parker requested a pole and street light in front
of Betty Clarks house at Highway 78 and Birmingham.
Request approved.
